After 4 weeks of the Games for Health EduMais educational Game Design Summer Camp I only can conclude that we have just started.
It makes my head spin. Fortunately Sandra and I have some down time in the beautiful Brazilian nature before we return to headquarters in Eindhoven. Time to land, time to think, to evaluate, to puzzle how we are able to improve and to scale-up this Summer Camp. And to figure things out. For us it was a summer camp, hard work, lots of spare time, working and living in one of the most dynamic and beautiful metropole on earth and enjoying the students and teachers. And then we leave. For the teachers and students it is where they live, study and work. That’s still difficult to comprehend.
Next week we will start organizing the continuation of this program. Remains me to thank, also on behalf of Sandra, all the people involved. All the people and organizations who financially contributed to this program and who trusted us to this program, the Games for Health team, the EduMais team, friends and family, Escola Solar, the Dutch consulate in Brazil, all the experts, the parents of the students and of course the volunteers, teachers and students of the EduMais Educational Game Design Summer Camp. We will see you soon.
