Briefing of the teachers

Today was the start of the Educational Game Design Course. We met with the teachers and volunteers of the EduMaisGames Summer Camp Course and briefed them on the program for the upcoming 4 weeks.

The course is in English and I was amazed by the level of English the teachers and volunteers spoke. I’ve been to Brazil since the eighties and for the first time I experienced such high quality and level of English. For me the course would be better in Portuguese because I really would like to improve my vocabulary but we’ll do that after work.

The fist day tomorrow will be to create a level playing field with the teachers and students. We need to get to know each other and we will start with breaking existing games to discover how hard it is to improve them and how easy it is to ruin them.

I’m very exited for tomorrow to discover how we will lift off this exiting project! Keep you all posted.
