Yesterday was the start of the 4th and last week of the EduMais Educational Game Summer Camp. A week in which the teachers take over from the trainers. And a week where the trainers become teaching assistants. And the teachers are goooooooooood! They know the course material very well and also know how to convey it very well to the students. And for us as assistants extra difficult because they do it in Portuguese. In any case, we also learn some new words.
Fortunately, we decorated this week that way because we miss six teachers who have been felled by Covid. A happy accident.
Although the obstacles of among many others broken internet, sick students, sick teachers, sick volunteers, closed school, late shipment of equipment, hospitalized founder, etc, etc the program kept on going and going and going. Expert sessions, good food, clear instructions by the teachers, creative and eager students.
